To quote today's press release: "Tobermory lifeboat was placed on immediate readiness at lunchtime today to assist a cruise ship with more than 1000 people on board which had lost power after an electrical fire. In the event, the lifeboat was not required to launch and the volunteer crew were stood down. According to AIS, the vessel is now underway and we hope that all on board enjoy their holiday."
