Flowers for Supper
This purple flowering broccoli is almost too attractive to eat, but having done service as today's blip it will now be served at supper as one fifth of our daily fruit/ vegetable intake. It remains to be seen what His Lordship thinks of having flowers in his pasta bake.
Unfortunately the much heralded heatwave on offer in Britain this weekend has stalled at the border and the skies over Edinburgh are grey with the threat of rain present. I did think I heard thunder a few minutes ago, but there again maybe not.
HL was heard to remark that a Yes vote in the referendum might mean Scotland would get better weather and England wouldn't be able to keep it all to themselves.
I've told him to keep taking the pills.
