Nailsworth's Millennium Gardens

...seen from across the stream, which must be a mill leet, it runs so straight. There are so many mills round this area that I lose track of them all.

On Saturday it's the start of the Nailsworth Festival, and both the bus station, where I was standing to take this shot, and the gardens which also double as an open air market space, will be filled with music, dance, and clowning. There'll even be a duck race on the stream, with money changing hands.

Today, though, the signs were going up warning that the buses wouldn't be stopping there on Saturday, but otherwise the area looked quiet, as usual.
