5 weeks

This little colt is just over 5 weeks old. He belongs to the owner of the riding club and I peek over the stable door most Weds evening to see how he is. On this occasion he'd had a fine long day out in the paddock with mum and had just made himself a comfy nest in the straw.
Foals are very easy to fall in love with and extremely easy to mishandle leading to a difficult horse/human relationship. I'm quite content to watch an expert to it.
Good riding lesson this evening, however Daisy the pony is getting fat. Less grass and more exercise is prescribed.
