TAKING OFF!!

After a hearty breakfast we caught the bus to Albufreta, an area of scrub marshland. We saw some lovely birds again. We walked back to Puerto Pollensa, stopping off at what is known among birdwatchers as Smelly River. It was not very productive for birds. We saw a Muscovy duck and lots of mallards.

We arrived back at the hotel and spent half an hour reading our books beside the pool before we had to get ready for dinner.
