"A precious oasis of peace"

Back in the late 1980's my farther in-law gave each of my then, Two children, a framed document in their names. The document was indicating that they are part share holders in a charitable trust called The Magog Trust. to cut a long short, land had been purchased to be set aside as wild meadows..

I visited the meadows to day and was thrilled with the abundance of wild flowers and insects..

The crows where patrolling the grasses looking for the skylark eggs hmm.. this was a little irritating to watch, However the the sweet sound of skylarks brought back many child hood memories, of me just laying on my back in a meadow and closing my eyes...
