Easternmost Madeira from Pico do Arieiro
Had a trip around Eastern Madeira today, including the viewing point at Pico do Arieiro at 1810 metres above sea level (just as well we didn't have to hike there!). The views were stunning as the weather was fantastic. Once more I struggled to choose a blip but this one won. I particularly liked the recession effect of "layers" of mountain ridges.
(We were, of course, well above the level of what clouds there were.)
Best viewed large.
