Guggenheim Museum Bilbao

My flight home wasn't until late afternoon so I had most of a day to kill. One of the clients knew someone who works at the Guggenheim Museum so he was able to give me a free ticket. Not my usual thing but I thought I'd take up the kind offer and take a look.

The building itself is very impressive but the works inside left me cold for the most part. Maybe I'm not very culturally refined but I don't see the point (if you see what I mean) in a needle glued pointy end up on a perspex plinth. Still one person's artictic masterpiece is another person's health and safety issue:-) I guess I just don't get modern art.
