New friends

I couldn't resist this cheeky twosome today. Miniman made a new friend on the beach. They played football, bat & ball, sand castles, shell collecting, digging for treasure, paddling and splashing along miles of seashore & endless other small boy pursuits within minutes of meeting each other.

Children do socialising so much better than most of us 'adults' (I use that term loosely) doncha think? And then again, as we age, it seems, we get better at it again. Maybe it's because we don't get hung up about the fear of rejection for too long then? I should take a leaf out of Miniman's book and talk to more random people for the heck of it. Worst that can happen is I get known as 'that weird chatty woman' if indeed I'm not already...
