Vuelta

This morning we traipsed around the whole of Santa Marta trying to find and english textbook but to no avail. In the afternoon we straightened our hair the Colombian way, which is called a vuelta and it involves wrapping the hair in a spiral around the head and leaving for a couple of hours for the heat of your head to hold the shape. It worked surprisingly well!
