Colombian mother's day

Today is mother's day in Colombia, we went to the supermarket to buy food and other things we needed and they were handing out flowers and cake to mothers. The team decided to tell them that I was a mum (the joke being that I'm the mum of the team!) so I got a flower and a nice piece of cake. I've told the team that they must continue what they started, and I now expect a card and flowers every year ;) ! Today there was also a special church service for mother's day including a drama by the pastor's family and ice cream for all the mums (and us!!).
