My willy is bigger than your willy

This morning two partridges were strutting their stuff in the middle of the road. I stopped my car and waited ... and waited ... even as I crept forward, they moved over a little but then continued bobbing up and down, stopping side by side to look at the metal beast looming towards them before returning to their ritual rivalry dance. Eventually, the one of the left admitted his inferiority (I'm not sure of the criteria - doubt if it was willy size), and flew over the hedgerow screeching. The other one then appeared to take fright and shot off in the other direction.
