Had a great day at the Leighton Moss RSPB reserve. Best sightings were Reed Warblers, Blackcaps and Tufted Ducks. I don't have a telephoto lens so needed to find something else to photograph.
No problem, there were plenty of insects and flowers. Could have posted the lovely blue damselfly or the delicate dandelion seed but went for the ugly bug! She (I've consulted the insect book) is a Broad-bodied Chaser.
Later we followed about 10 Greylag Geese and a similar number of goslings a short distance along on of the reserve footpaths. I was a bit too slow to get good photos.
