Paddy's Wigwam

Headed out with Dad and visited both Cathedrals at opposite ends of Hope Street and then had a few moments of reflection in The Philharmonic.

Both places are spectacular in their own way. I love the modernity of this one and the scale of the other one is something else. At Liverpool Cathedral we even grabbed some scoff in their restaurant (sat outside I tell you) before heading up to the top for the best views of the city I've seen.

It's been a flying visit to see Dad as I have to head back tomorrow but we had a grand day out today. And we lit candles in both cathedrals for Mum, although as she was a Methodist I don't know if she would have encouraged that sort of thing.
