Inverlael River

As it was a good day and the sun was shining, we decided to go for a pick nick lunch to Lael Forest Garden. This is about nine miles east of Ullapool. We had our lunch when we arrived at a very handy woodland table, then across to the river for some photos. This is looking east over Ross-shire. The river was just like a mountain stream, very clear and clean. After this we took the strenuous route round the forest, which made us climb half up the mountain. The views were really good up there. Coming down was steep but a dodle! Have a great weekend everyone!
