Langstone Rock, Dawlish Warren
It's the last day of our holiday and the children are shattered after long days and late nights. We decided that they needed an easy day, with not too much walking, so took the train from Exmouth to Dawlish Warren.
The train journey in itself was an adventure for the kids, as we don't often travel by train. When we arrived at Dawlish Warren the children enjoyed the amusements and children's rides.
While there we had a short walk along the sea wall and I took this photo of Langstone Rock - known so since the South Devon Railway was created and to run the railway through this part of Devon they had to cut into the previously known Langstone Point.
