Go fly.. a kite

There was pair of red Kite cicling overhead this morning.. both looking for their thermals (even though it was a warm morning!!!) One had clearly found the thermal the other had performed some acrobatics and dropped off it.. and is seen here flapping its way up to a better height once more.

They are great fun to watch as their tails which are quite deeply forked twist to help them turn corners and correct their balance in the breeze.

It's Friday and I for one am looking forward to the warmth of the weekend.
