Bangalow Palm
May Challenge by AnnieMay and MollyMay - Magnolia, the colour
DDW's Where I Live
The Bangalow Palm, Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, is a tall slender tree native to the northern part of the east coast of Australia. When the flower spikes first break out they are a lovely pale, warm, cream colour. After flowering the spikes are covered in berries, which start green and turn bright red as they ripen, and are loved by birds. This is one of a group of three in our back yard.
