Day Thirty Two
Not sure who is studying who in this picture!
All moved into the new house now. I asked to be closer to town, and my new community that I am in, is indeed much closer to town. I hadn't realised quite how comfortable I had become at my last house; it has definitely been challenging to move to a new community. The houses are more compact and space is clearly at a premium. However, I am looking forward to the weekend and walking around and getting to know my new surroundings.
Liberia is the only country in Africa to have two airports. There is the main airport out of town, but we also have a small airport in town – and my new house is right next to this airport. I enjoy watching the large white UN helicopters flying in and out. You see all the white UN cars about town, but seeing all the helicopters reminds you just how much of a presence the UN has.
