If there'es one thing worse than a banana

It's something banana flavoured. How is it that we can reproduce the flavours of so many things so well, but banana flavoured anything tastes nothing like a banana! You can add cheese and onion crisps to this list. I've yet to eat a cheese and onion crisp that tastes remotely like cheese and onion but that's OK as I find the flavour to my liking anyway but detest anything banana flavoured, including bananas. I do wish you could still get Golden Wonder crisps though. They were the best.

Only 1 week before we go to Portugal so I shouldn't be surprised when I look at the 7 day weather forecast to see that the clear blue skies and 25+ temperatures that they are currently enjoying take a turn for the worse next week. I can only hope that this weather cycle is weekly. If it is, we are in for some good weather, otherwise, it will be like holidaying in England but with sardines instead of cod & chips.

And finally - happy birthday to Matthew. 27 today. How did that happen?
