Here come the tomatoes

These are the first baby cherry tomatoes on our plants. We also have several bay strawberries. My husband doubts we will actually get to harvest anything for our own consumption since the birds will likely eat the first. Maybe we will build a protection barrier next weekend!
Today it was over 100 degrees F with us - a local pharmacy said it was 107 degrees F, my car thought it was 105 - does it matter much once it's over 100??
Anyway we avoided the heat as much as possible but did have our first venture into our shady pool. It was freezing still! We lasted 10 minutes before running for a warm shower! Literally my daughter was shivering and had goose bumps.
Fingers crossed the trees will all go next week and then we will have a warmer pool!
