Mustard Seed
The May Challenge by AnnieMay and MollyMay for today is the colour mustard - and what better to demonstrate the colour than mustard seeds.
Having only the powdered stuff in the larder, I headed for the "open all hours" local supermarket in the vague hope of there being some in the herb and spices area. The nearest was a jar of whole-seed mustard in some gooey stuff. Back home I put some in a tea strainer and rinsed the goo away. Rather like the tiny poppy seeds I blipped some time ago, up close these seed have an interesting texture.
