Bakin' and achin'....

...sums up today's little whirlwind tour to London. Though I'm not complaining about the bakin'...it was a glorious day in the capital.

V early start, 5.30!!! Train from Langley Mill at 7.39am to get my 8.32am connection from Nottingham to St Pancras.

First stop is Parliament Square and to capture Churchills statue and Big Ben at noon.

Then made my way to the cenotaph, St. Paul's and the very interesting Postmans Park!

Train back home at 3.15pm and had time to capture this at Liverpool Street! You can understand why no one uses the steps to go up!!
