Thursday: Getting Ready

The International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) falls on Saturday this year.  As the office will be closed then, we are going to fly the rainbow flag from the building tomorrow so as to show our support.  This is my colleague, Snjezana, who got us the flag and is in charge of the hanging ceremony.

What was particularly sweet was that when I went to take the photo, Tomislav jumped off from his desk and came and grabbed the flag too as he really wanted to be in the photo.

We have had some unbelievable weather here today.  Howling wind and rain all day - in fact, we have had a 'red weather warning' because the wind speed has got up to 75 km/h.  There have been some really loud cracks and splitting noises coming from the garden so we will have to see tomorrow what the trees look like.  

If you look carefully, you can see Snjezana's sandwich on her desk in the background.  That used to be my desk until we all switched positions about 8 months ago.
