The Coinage of the Realm

It appears that everything today was "a pound". Even this lady appeared on the street with the relevant price sticker.
I don't know why I actually stopped at this point. It did not appear to be anything in the scene that was that interesting. Then I noticed the the "£1" label attached to her chest at the same moment the gent came by.
I hadn't actually noticed the pattern of the shadows cast across the street until later when I processed the shot. But hey-that's street photography for you!
