May Sisters’ Challenge: mustard

Another busy day; I know some retired folk wonder how they had time to go to work as they’re so busy, but we’re starting to feel the same now. So - out in the garden around 7.00am for a blip-think. Keen as mustard.

We have a couple of deciduous Azaleas in pots that we’re keeping an eye on. The buds are probably only a few days from opening now. At this stage they’re mustard colour - depending on whether you calibrate your colour sense to English or Dijon. Taste-wise I’m in the Dijon camp.

In the evening (or rather, late afternoon) we go to the cinema to see The Wind Rises. Not an ideal time, but as it's not a shoot-em up Hollywood Blockbuster, it’s only being shown 4 times so we have little choice. A beautiful, slow and thought-provoking film. And a Nando’s takeaway for supper. A good day all-round.
