Shadow figure

I was walking up Härnösand's main street today when I found this shadow on the ground in front of me. It was somehow more interesting than the statue which cast the shadow.
I'm sure it was subconsciously inspired by Bengtfoto's portrait of a friend, posted five days ago.
But it wasn't just Wikke's picture because I have always found shadows fascinating. Over my short time on blip I seem to have developed a series of "shadow" photographs, and there is another "Shadows" album on Flickr.
Am I part of the dark side...
