Evening on Mont Blanc

Had to be this view again today. Unfortunately hubby and his friend have not been able to do the Mont Blanc ascent as planned :-( They were due to head to a mountain hut today from the Aguille du Midi mid station and then set off at 1am tomorrow to head to the summit. But it's too windy. Boo. So they are off thru to Switzerland to do something similar on another alpine mountain peak. Gutted for them. I also liked the idea of being able to 'see' them tomorrow from the flat. Oh well. As long as they are safe I'm happy whatever they do.

Oh and it was sunny today. Of course today was the day that the apartment block builders decided to replace our balcony and paint it. So no balcony bathing for me. Again!!!
