Hello Sunshine!

It has been a glorious day and while Herself was being outrageously pampered at a spa, I took myself out for a massive 6 hour walk on the Sheep's Head.

None of the photographs I brought back satisfied me. I find that I often don't respond well to blue-sky images or they just never quite capture the grandeur of the scenery here. So here is an image I took early this morning when the sun was just finding its way through the trees onto this happy little buttercup by our pond. I often like dark backgrounds - perhaps that says something about me?
