Not a brilliant photo

It's not a good photo but I've been trying to get this little chaffinch all day.
This little bird has been visiting the feeder all day long, but for some reason, every time it came it fed a little then perched on the window looked in for a while and then flew off. Does anyone have an idea of why it would?
