Schaffhausen Old Town

The old city of Schaffhausen is a fascinating place with its cobbled streets and medieval buildings. However, the street level floors of these buildings are often modern shops whilst the upper floors retain their original character. This carved fresco for instance is above the door of a chain store, shoe shop, but it still manages to keep its character.
