Rosehaugh Estate

The Estate was really busy today. For so long it has been a forgotten backwater but there is now a new Factor, she is young and enthusiastic. Suddenly, almost overnight, there is atmosphere of purpose. Areas are being cleared so that the wild flowers are given more light and space. New paths are being opened up and old, dangerous trees are being felled. I have also heard that dog bins will be provided. That will be a great boon to us dog walkers. The estate workers are always friendly and polite, waiting until we have passed by before continuing with their digging or felling. I really enjoyed my walk today.
