Southsea

Took my Aunty for morning stroll along Southsea front this morning. I can remember seeing the first hovercraft here when I came down to stay with my grandparents as a teenager.
It was very nostalgic to watch them travel across to the Isle of Wight as we had a coffee.

Today was about learning all about my maternal granddad and his war history.

The photo shows two war memorials with the Spinnaker Tower in the background - thought it was too geeky to post a photo of the hovercraft!
