The Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos major)

at our front yard digging food from stump of a maple tree. His work was worth effort, he found big fat worm from deep hole at foot of the stump.

Lot's of wild visitors today at garden, it made difficult to choose blip of the day.
