Avalon in the Spring

Spring cleaning at the Jersey shore.
An annual ritual.
Beyond the mundane work tasks in getting the house ready for our early June renters, we saw signs of new life everywhere here.
And, maybe more importantly, we see the promise of our own new beginnings.
All the newfound light.
Hopefully, inside lightheartedness, a lightness of being.
The blue sky.
A cool breeze.
Warm sunlight.
Glimpses of pure seeing if only for an instant.
Seeing now much more than the shadows in the light this quiet afternoon.
Discovering again colors, white and blues and greens, not the gray skies of winter.
Trees blooming radiantly.
"My favorite season", she said.
