Road trip (2)

Another drive today, back from Palm Springs to Vegas. We took a different route on the way back, avoiding freeways and just sticking to highways, including the historic Route 66.

It really made us realise how huge the country is, at one point we drove for 50 miles and didn't see anything apart from desert and a couple of run down houses. You wouldn't want to run out of petrol out there!
