Ginkgo Biloba

This beautiful tree belongs to my neighbour. Whenever I am at the sink, it glows.....this time of year it is breathtaking.

Ginkgo is a unique species of tree with no living relatives. The ginkgo is a living fossil, recognisably similar to fossils dating back 270 million years.
