A No 147
Just like buses they come in batches. After a fruitless few days I had a few hours to spare today so I set off with my two best mates at 06:30 to take a look at the countryside which surrounds our house and with a clear blue sky and a low sun there were subjects in abundance. I returned home just before CoffeePotter left for work and showed her my trophies.
She agreed that I had done well and off she went to her job and I then got down to sorting out the garden. I stopped when it got towards eleven o’clock to get a cup of coffee and my compulsory McVitie’s chocolate digestives when I was stopped dead in my tracks by this fabulous cloud formation, the diagonal slash was a revolving swirl of cloud and I have never seen anything like this before.
I knew that as my camera was up in the office and had my 105mm lens attached and so I would have to revert to the alternative, my phone. I was not disappointed, and the picture that it captured had to replace anything shot earlier this morning.
