25 (found more in the garage) Carousels of 35 mm slides have been pruned down into these 19 envelopes which contain the "Keepers". Next step will be to scan the slides after I settle on a procedure. Probably I will set up a separate Lightroom Library on a separate hard disk, then keyword for indexing. Have spent a bunch of time today practicing with the Canon scanner software. Learned that I must scan at 1200 dpi to make the photos print well in a Blurb book. Still a long way to go...
