" JUST A SHADE ON THE BLUE SIDE" -Hoagy Carmichael

Another lovely bright sunny day and with less of a cold breeze so it felt so much warmer.

Mr A and I tried food shopping together. Not something we have ever really done before. That probably sounds strange after being married so long but he has always worked either away or travelled and arrived home when it was completed. It was quite an experience, in fact we ended up shopping independently!! Well that was better than a disagreement in the store.

Phoebe came too of course and loves greeting everyone she meets, especially 'small people'.

I took lots of photos at work today, even saw the swallows collecting the mud from Sir's bumpy driveway. (Wish he'd get it smoothed over instead of all the pot holes), but at least the little birds are making use of it.

The lovely blue tiny flowers are of course Germander Speedwell. Also commonly called ' Bird's Eye' or Cat's Eye's. If you look closely, you can see the tiny small hairs on the stems.

Thankyou for the stars and kind comments on my starry Dandelion. I shall be glad when they have disappeared from the front strip of ground in front of my house, making it look a mess. I would strim it myself if I had a powerful strimmer.

The warmer weather is set to continue for a few days, so it's time to get the bar be out of the garage/shed and get the Pimms ready for the weekend.
