Deep Water

With Samantha's energy levels coming back, we had a post-tea wander up to Gartmorn Dam.

Did intend to do a circuit of the reservoir but what with me and the usual stop/start/faff with the camera and then the clouds of blood-sucking midges and flies that were making it near impossible to have a conversation without taking in a mouthful we did a bit then turned back.

Regularly looked at this shot but not sure I'd committed anything to pixels before, but the combination of 'Warning - Deep Water sign and the small Scottish Saltire with '2014' on it piqued my interest this evening. Also noticed that, despite this being a thirty second exposure, the little wagtail sitting on the left of the structure is still visible.

Nice walk. Still itching from the midge bites though.
