Bug hunting!

Today we've been bug hunting and pond-dipping at Fingringhoe Wick nature reserve. We've had good day, we looked for minibeasts in the morning and after lunch we looked for their watery friends in the pond. Lots of fab creatures about, especially in the pond, we found freshwater shrimps, and a pondskater, a damsel fly nymph, and water boatmen. After several days of rain, we've had a day of lovely sunshine. It's been fab.

this evening we all collapsed on the sofa, and watched half of "dolphin tale", we are all very tired pinks!
