Redbilled Woodhoopoe (Phoeniculus pirpireus)

Eisch, what a difficult little nonsense! I've battled for approximately 2 months to get a proper picture of him, errr ..... well, cannot really say this is a great capture, but geez, have mercy on an old lady!! He is só fast and só shy, I've seen two of them around for about two months now, but they always hide quickly as soon as they see me!

They tried the same today, the one flew out the tree and I had to swing the camera quite fiercely around to get some snaps, they were all real crap, this is the only quite presentable one!
