Since Clydeport were taken over by Peel Holdings last year, it's been rumoured that the iconic blue cranes at the ocean terminal are to be painted red to match the company's colours. It hasn't transpired yet and I hope it's nonsense, as they would be a terrible eyesore in anything but their current muted blue.

A German boat today, Thomson's Mein Schiff, with 2725 passengers. Looking forward to a wee day off tomorrow before the arrival of our second biggest boat of the season, the Ruby Princess, on Friday.
