Ice Saints

The Ice Saints provided us with chilly nights and cold mornings, as expected - and fog here.
We'll see (and feel) what the last one, the kalte (cold) Sophie brings us tonight and tomorrow.

People here wait until the Ice Saints are over, before they move flowers and other plants etc. in the garden. I don't know about the young folks, but the older ones all know who the cold Sophie is. We talk about "her" and you could think she's a a real person.
