@Bristol

Another miserable day weather-wise, but it didn't matter because we were planning to spend our time in @bristol. We did feel sorry for all the people running the Bristol 10k though! Conor was asleep when we arrived so Orla got a chance to have a good play in peace. Once he woke up, it was time for Ed and Orla to go the planetarium show, so Conor and I did some exploring. He loved the under-8s jungle area and dressed up as the world's cutest monkey. Then he spent about 20 minutes deconstructing and trying to reconstruct a bridge.

We had a lovely lunch in Bordeaux Quay, where we met a nice couple with a baby boy called Zack who was about Conor's age. After we'd finished lunch we went to get an ice cream for Orla and then for a bit of a walk (as the weather had cleared up). We discovered a playground on Brandon Hill, and about five minutes after we arrived so did our new friends! So Zack and Conor had a nice time playing together and Orla made friends with other children who were playing there too.
