The Universe Versus Alex Woods

I finished reading the book with this title yesterday. It's set largely in and around Glastonbury and the eponymous hero's mother owns a fictional shop very similar to this real one, which is opposite the Market Cross.

If you haven't read it, I can thoroughly recommend the book, written By Gavin Extence: quirky, funny, thought-provoking and moving, it's made me think I must read some Kurt Vonnegut novels, which it references.

I've spent the day pottering (gardening, baking the weekly loaves), apart from a lunchtime swim.
