Moving Day!

By ten in the morning all of my physical belongings were packed into two checked bags and two carry-ons. Then two car loads of Thai friends and my American roommate went with me to at the airport. It's a tradition I have learned to love, friends accompanying each other to the airport, bus station, or train station to make sure tickets are correct, take pictures, and spend the final moments making memories together.

From Thailand I flew to Shanghai, where I will be living for at least a year, maybe more. Saying "see you later" to so many friends was hard, but I'm hopeful for many more good memories and relationships to come.
