Stalagmites

We went to Poole's cavern in Buxton today. Apparently people have used these caves since before Roman times. They have unearthed lots of old coins and traces of fires on which small animals have been cooked. These are some stalagmites that we saw down there. It was rather chilly so the historic people must have worn plenty of clothes/ animal skins.
