A different kind of beastie

It was the pine cone that I stopped to blip on this morning's walk, but then I noticed the ladybird bug.

Is it a ladybird? All the pictures of ladybirds show them with round spots, whereas this one has uneven-shaped white blobs.

Anyway, she makes a change from dogs, horses and cows.
